Aerobic exercise can be taken in a great many ways! Walking dancing swimming are all great ways to take aerobic exercise, and it is a great and in the main easy way of getting fit and into shape.
Remember that in order to consider it aerobic exercise you have to get your heart rate up and keep it up for a period of time. When you first start out it will be a short time, but you want to add time to your workout every few weeks to move up to a half hour or even an hour if you can do it. You can do this in many ways.
