Ear Drum Damage Causes Tinnitus
Tinnitus is a condition that has been around for many years but seems to be getting worse in these loud time we live in. A lot of suffers complain that loud noise is one of the main tinnitus causes since it leads to eardrum damage.
Due to the growing popularity of Apple ipods and similar MP3 player, most cases of tinnitus are self inflicted. This trend will likely continue as such devices grow in popularity, and, to make matters even worse, almost every cell phone now is an MP3 player too.
These devices are extremely popular amongst students, sportsman and women and commuters. As the lat commutes they mentioned typically using the Mp3 player as a means to mask the noise and clutter around them, and for the passing of time.
The problem, because the trains, buses and traffic is so loud, they need to increase the volume levels and this is where the damage starts occurring and tinnitus cause rears it’s ugly head.
Most folk don’t even know about tinnitus and how debilitating it can be until they already have it, at which time it is too late obviously!
There are other causes of tinnitus. Stress, sinus, drugs and ear wax removal can also cause tinnitus.
So it is my opinion the best tinnitus cure is education! Teach kids about it in school and in college, the same way that sex education is taught!
